Wasatch Energy Management (WEM) reached out to GMI because they were using GIS in a disconnected and disorganized way. Different departments utilized different software and data formats with no cohesive way to share data. GMI conducted interviews with the departments that are using spatial data to determine existing workflows. We provided a report in which we made recommendations for improved GIS infrastructure as well as an actionable implementation plan.
