Our work with USAN 811 involves end-to-end ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data processing to ensure seamless integration and management of critical reference data. We retrieve, process, transform, standardize, and upload data from multiple sources daily into a PostgreSQL database, which serves as the foundation for GeoServer-hosted web services.
Key aspects of this project include:
- Multi-Source Data Integration – Daily retrieval and processing of data from various sources
- Data Governance & Standardization – Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance
- Database & Server Management – Maintaining and optimizing PostgreSQL databases
- Web Services Deployment – Hosting geospatial data through GeoServer for efficient access
- Redundancies & Failsafes – Implementing automated backups and failover mechanisms to enhance reliability
This system ensures consistent up-to-date data availability, secure operations, and scalable geospatial data management for USAN 811.
