The Notus Parma Highway District has been a long-standing on-call client for our engineering and GIS services. We designed a new database schema and implemented a geographic information system using ArcGIS Online to establish an asset management and maintenance tracking system. This system allows highway district personnel to conduct and document field inspections and track maintenance on roadway infrastructure and pavement conditions, signs, culverts, and bridges. We also developed online mapping applications for editing and reporting and established mobile access for field personnel to enter real-time inspection information. The highway district consults us for GIS-related questions and additional capabilities. We perform data backups and monitor scripts to ensure the system functions properly.
