GMI has served as the primary GIS team for Clinton city since the early 1990’s. In addition to several other utilities, GMI has supported Clinton City in creating and managing the GIS for the city storm water system. As NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) requirements have become stricter over the years, we’ve helped Clinton City use GIS as a tool to keep track of required information, including system inventory, storm water monitoring, outfall inspections, reporting, preventing illicit discharges, and tracking SWPPPs (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans) for construction and post construction sites.
