This project involved setting up two Trimble R2 GPS units to work with ESRI Field Maps for the Bear River Water Conservancy District. The team calibrated the GPS units for accurate positioning and configured them to collect spatial data related to water infrastructure, like pipeline locations and maintenance records. After setup, the units were tested in the field to ensure smooth data synchronization with the District’s GIS system. The final result provides an efficient, real-time solution for field data collection and water management.
