This project involved creating a comprehensive transportation plan aimed at improving bike, pedestrian, and roadway infrastructure within the ACHD Central Bench planning area. To engage the public and gather feedback, a project website was developed using Esri’s ArcGIS Hub Site application. The website featured background information and an interactive map displaying both completed and planned pedestrian and bicycle projects in the area. An online survey was conducted to collect data on the community’s current travel experiences as pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists. Additionally, an interactive comment map allowed the public to provide specific feedback by double-clicking on the desired location on the map. The feedback collected through the website was used to identify and prioritize capital improvement projects.
