As sub consultants to AECOM, Gateway Mapping Inc. (GMI), under the direction of parent company J-U-B Engineers Inc. (J-U-B), provided design, construction, and right-of-way acquisition support to Utah Transit Authority (UTA) as they develop a new rapid transit line in Utah County. GMI developed an ArcGIS Online hosted web map that provides a platform for the entire project team to visualize the progress of ROW acquisition and see elements of the project design overlaid on an easy-to-use map. This tool has been used in meetings with staff from multiple contractors as well as UTA personnel to coordinate on project details and discuss overall concepts and progress.
