Gateway Mapping Inc. (GMI) has worked with Bingham County, Idaho on an ongoing basis since 2003. We have helped the County accomplish a series of GIS projects, including the implementation of a GIS-based pavement management program. We credit our excellent working relationship with the County as a primary factor in the success of these projects. County staff members and Gateway Mapping employees have been able to work together as a single team with the same vision, resulting in the accomplishment of the County’s GIS goals.

Project Highlights Include:

• Worked with County Road & Bridge staff to define needs for a pavement management program
• Developed pavement rating methodology to rate distresses and needed treatments for County-maintained paved and gravel roads
• Implemented a program to track pavement conditions and work histories using ArcGIS and Spatial IM^TM
• Created templates for monthly and annual reports
